Best Starting Poker Hands
What is the best poker hand to start? Statistically?
AA is the best starting hand in Texas Hold Em, but it is not a 80% favorite. Its only about a 20% favorite against mulitple opponents is even better than any other starting hand. The main reason why you should always wear preflop with AA is to cut down on the number of opponents against you. AA holds a percentage higher at the time, against some opponents (2-3). The more you let opponents in the pot when you hold AA increases the odds that you'll during cracking.

Casino Hotel Vacations Niagara Falls
Niagara Falls vacation
A few years ago my wife asked to do a mini-four-day trip to see the falls, as it had never been there. We decided to go all week to avoid crushing traffic on weekends as possible. We made a hotel reservation and we went. Using the State Route 17 North, travel takes longer, then using Route 287, but the landscape is beautiful and you can visit many small villages that offer great antique shops, restaurants and Endicott, a restored 1920 carousel, zoo and exhibits. It took several days to travel the 500 miles to reach Niagara with all the stopping and shopping, but we stopped at the beginning, before the night, every day, had a room and had a good dinner.
One of the most special outside of Niagara Falls was our stop at the Corning glass factory in Corning, New York. Their museum is remarkable luster and displays are breathtaking. More colors of glass you can imagine and several glass items that you can count. Vases, plates shakers, cups, landing lights from the airport, chandeliers, lamps and just rooms and exhibition halls. There is also a region with their commercial work as well, including insulation and fiber optic cables. Well worth a visit.
I had been to the falls as a child, but the extent of water and the sounds have been forgotten. We arrived at the hotel about six hours and our "Falls View" room had a beautiful view of a brick wall of the hotel. We paid extra for a view and a balcony and we insisted we be moved. The hotel just kindly did. This was the only minor sour note of the trip. We dined at the rooftop restaurant and hotel was great. The hotel is connected to a casino, we spent the rest of the evening giving some money for them.
The next morning up bright and sunny. We took a short walk in the tourist area of shops for breakfast and my wife got her first contact with the conversion of Canadian money to American. We had eggs and coffee and the bill came to something like $ 37 dollars. Dollars Canadian that is. She almost fainted when she saw the bill for $ 37 until the waitress explained the difference in dollars. We had a good laugh at that.
American and Horseshoe Falls are of course visible (and heard) from across the region. You can stand and watch hours and many people do. Tram tours are gardens mansion worth the fees and lasts a few hours. The highlight is of course up one on one of the boats that approach the base of the falls themselves. We drove on the "Maid of the Mist" and it was well worth the line waiting to board. They give you a plastic rain parka-wearing and put the smart people. Many have not, and are a little sorry later. The boat moves to the outputs of the old Comstock tunnel at the foot of the falls themselves. The captain pushes the bow as close to falling into the water from above. The sound of the waterfall is amazing and makes conversation impossible. The "mist" is like standing in a heavy downpour of rain. Without the parka you will be soaked. Many people were, and once you're in the grave, it is too late for a bet. They all took it with a smile knowing it was their fault. This is something everyone must do a list bucket with a dear friend.
Another great attraction is to be able to walk through the tunnels Comstock and end behind the falls. There are actually decks that you can hold on to see. I could not help to think of men who dared to build those bridges several years ago. Amazing!
A visit to the American Museum of Niagara Falls is a must. Their displays of all the barrels of people used to go to the tomb, for some reason, are exposed. Most did not survive the fall and were killed. Go down to the hand railing directly adjacent to the top of the falls to get to just how high the falls really are and how fast the water is traveling. It is quite amazing.
Our trip took four days to seven days, as there are so places to visit and things to do in New York, we made many other trips as well.

Straight Flush Beats
I have some questions regarding Poker Rules and etiquette. T-5 of a kind beat Royal Flush?
I have some questions about poker rules and etiquette. Q1) T-5 of a kind beat royal flush? I'm pretty sure that's the case, but I played in a game the other night and the others, he says it beats lowest straight flush, but not a royal flush. Fortunately, my 5 only 9 have been against a lower flush. Q2) I played a game up there where the rules stated that you need a flush or better to win the top. Someone High went before me, and I had a hand that was good enough to go up or down, but not of high and low. 8 High I had a flush, so I thought the guy will probably beat me high. I went low, and the guy said "Woops, I have a right." So the guy who won just took the whole pot. I would have won if I had been high here, and I would have gone that way if this guy would not go above error. Should I have any recourse? If the guy were penalized somehow? What do you do in your games?
5 of a kind, with wildcards, of course, beats a royal. It is the door that you open when you play with jokers or wild cards. Right poker no 5 of a kind. Secunda your question sounds like a "luck of the draw misfortune. You win and you lose more.
